The successful candidate will combine deep EveryAction expertise with strong analytical skills and experience designing CRM systems for mission-driven organizations.

Animal Wellness Action and the Center for a Humane Economy seek an experienced CRM and audience-growth strategist to modernize and optimize our EveryAction CRM ecosystem and supporter lifecycle architecture. This consultant will evaluate our existing data environment, develop scalable systems and automation, improve reporting capabilities, and help create a best-in-class donor and supporter experience.

The successful candidate will combine deep EveryAction expertise with strong analytical skills and experience designing CRM systems for mission-driven organizations.
PROJECT SCOPE
CRM Architecture & Data Strategy
- Evaluate and optimize the organization’s EveryAction architecture.
- Review and improve database structure, source codes, and constituent records.
- Recommend scalable CRM standards and governance practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and reporting.
Segmentation & Automation
- Design advanced audience segmentation strategies using behavioral, engagement, demographic, and giving data.
- Develop automated communication workflows supporting fundraising, advocacy, stewardship, and engagement.
- Recommend lifecycle automation that reduces manual processes while improving personalization.
Donor & Supporter Journey Design
- Map and optimize donor and supporter journeys from acquisition through long-term stewardship.
- Develop engagement pathways for advocates, donors, volunteers, and recurring supporters.
- Recommend lifecycle improvements to increase retention, engagement, and conversion.
Data Hygiene & Deliverability
- Evaluate database health and establish list hygiene standards.
- Develop recommendations for suppression, pruning, deduplication, and data normalization.
- Recommend best practices for maintaining strong email deliverability and sender reputation.
Reporting & Analytics
- Design an executive dashboard framework for organizational reporting.
- Define key performance indicators and reporting standards across communications, fundraising, advocacy, and audience growth.
- Develop recurring reporting structures that provide actionable organizational insights.
Audience & Lifetime Value Analysis
- Analyze constituent behavior across acquisition sources and engagement channels.
- Conduct lifetime value (LTV) analysis for donors and supporters.
- Identify high-value audience segments and opportunities for improved investment and stewardship.
Reactivation & Sustainer Strategy
- Develop strategies to reactivate inactive subscribers and lapsed donors.
- Recommend approaches for increasing monthly sustainer acquisition and retention.
- Evaluate supporter lifecycle performance and identify opportunities to improve long-term value.
Technology Integration
- Evaluate and recommend integrations between EveryAction and third-party platforms, including FreeWill, Double the Donation, and other fundraising and engagement tools.
- Recommend improvements that streamline data flow and reduce manual administrative work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience administering EveryAction or comparable nonprofit CRM platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in CRM architecture, database design, segmentation, and marketing automation.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising, advocacy, and digital communications.
- Experience developing executive dashboards and organizational reporting systems.
- Experience conducting audience analysis, donor modeling, and lifetime value analysis.
- Knowledge of email deliverability, data governance, and list hygiene best practices.
- Experience integrating CRM systems with third-party fundraising and marketing platforms.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience supporting national nonprofit advocacy organizations.
- Familiarity with fundraising and advocacy technology ecosystems, with EveryAction experience strongly preferred.’
- Experience managing large constituent databases (100,000+ records).
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, data visualization tools, or CRM integrations is highly desirable.
